Nearing our 70th anniversary, God has strengthened and broadened Central’s impact as we currently educate 240 students from 40 different zip codes and 60 churches. Central has been identified as an academic competitor and has demonstrated a commitment to providing research-based best practices within – not in spite of – a nurturing, gospel-centered community.
We find ourselves at the intersection of faith, academics, and diversity. Unapologetically Christian and academically challenging, we welcome and educate a richly diverse group of students. Our diversity is evidenced in various racial backgrounds, socio-economic groups, and the St. Louis neighborhoods our families call home. We're committed to meeting the academic needs of a broad range of learners, so our Learning Center offers both a gifted enrichment program and academic support.
We hold our accreditation through
Cognia and are also members of the Council on Educational Standards and Accountability (
CESA), Independent Schools of St. Louis (
ISSL), and the Christian School Association of St. Louis (
CSASL).
While we have been thoughtful and diligent in our efforts to plant seeds of meaningful improvement in our school, we humbly recognize that God has sustained us and equipped us to thrive. We believe the Lord has raised up this place to educate a uniquely diverse group of students equitably, with purposeful excellence, to prepare them to engage a changing world for Jesus Christ.
