• After Care Worker (Feb-May 2025)

  Central Christian School is seeking team members to work in our After Care Program. Candidates should have an active Christian faith, be energetic and flexible, and enjoy working with kids (ages 3-12).
  
  The physical demands of the position are minimal but include keeping pace with children 3-12 years old and leading them up/down flights of stairs twice a shift. Outdoor play is actively monitored. Expectations are for workers to move around in order to keep their eyes on their assigned cohort of students. Younger students will also need to be taken to the front office as well as to/from the bathroom for scheduled breaks. In case of injury, smaller students may need to be carried indoors to the nurse's station or to the front desk for pick-up.

• Athletic/After Care Coordinator

  Central Christian School is seeking a part-time Athletic & After Care Coordinator to further the school's vision and mission by ensuring quality extra-curricular programs for students. The Athletic Coordinator is responsible for organizing the registration, coaching, and management of the school’s extracurricular sports teams for the school year. The After Care Coordinator manages our after-school program and its staff members.

• Design Lab Teacher

  Central Christian School is seeking a passionate and innovative part-time Design Lab Teacher to further the school's mission by fostering creativity, problem-solving, and technological fluency through a dynamic STEM-based makerspace and Apple-focused lab environment. In this role, you will guide students through hands-on, inquiry-driven learning experiences that integrate design thinking, Apple technology, and Project-Based Learning (PBL) methodologies. You will teach students how to work with both raw materials and digital tools, ensuring they develop the technical and critical thinking skills necessary for authentic, real-world problem-solving.

  Central Christian School is seeking a Christ-filled, innovative, and passionate individual to serve our school as our part-time Horizons Teacher, a Learning Specialist for gifted students. This individual will be responsible for supporting the academic success of students who benefit from enrichment.

• Substitute Teacher

  We're hiring substitute teachers to teach as needed on a day-to-day basis. Prior teaching experience or training is welcome but not required. Opportunities to substitute are in our 3- and 4-year-old classrooms through 6th Grade, as well as in our specialist classes including Art, PE, Spanish, Music, Library, and Design Lab. Our teachers will prepare lesson plans for you to implement in their absence.
